THE IRON WORKS

Wrought Iron
Hammer and anvil, fire and forge—the Iron Works is a relatively recent addition to the Berea College Crafts program, established in 1976. Students bend and hammer hot steel into classically wrought, graceful and utilitarian forms. The Master Craftsman guides the production and finishing of these rugged, durable works, which lend unmistakable strength and grace to any room.

ABOUT OUR WROUGHT IRON PRODUCTS

Our iron pieces are hand-wrought and finished with a baked on powder coating that not only prevents rust but is environmentally friendly. Care is simple—use warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. With the minimum of maintenance these pieces will easily last 100 years.
